RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS
(1) Facilitated the K.V.Kamath Committee on Financial Architecture for MSME Sector during 2014-15
(2) Established the National Credit Guarantee Trust Corporation of India (NCGTC) in 2014 as the umbrella organization for all Credit Guarantee Mechanisms in the country. Directly involved in the formulation of various guarantee schemes, skill development loans, student loans, factoring, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana loans, low cost housing and Stand Up India loans. Directly involved in preparing the regulatory framework for credit guarantees in India.
(3) As Member, developed a Credit Rating Mechanism for Real Estate Builders/Projects during 2014.
(4) Actively contributed in the formulation, execution and launch of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna (PMJDY), a financial inclusion exercise, in August, 2014.
(5) Member of core team in formulation and implementation of four of the premier programmes of Government of India – Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Stand up India, Start up India, Housing For All -2022.
(6) Member of the core team to execute the bank notes demonetisation scheme starting November 8,2016.
(7) Collaborating with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation in the construction of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Also involved in defining the contours of Affordable Housing for credit purposes.
(8) Introduced 15 pairs of Parcel Specials everyday to facilitate trade, MSMEs and Industry during the COVID lockdown.
(9) In coordination with the State Government all over the country, more than 500 Shramik Specials to clear stranded migrant labour and tourists.
(10) Zero based timetabling of Mumbai Delhi corridor and Golden Quadrilateral by replotting more than 200 trains. It has created more space for freight, traffic maintenance and led to speeding up the journeys.
(11) Standardisation of rakes in 10 services for better stock management and punctuality.
(12) Directly involved in the conceptualization, introduction and operations of India’s first single set trains – Vande Bharat Express to Varanasi and Katra from Delhi.
(13) Directly involved in the introduction, planning, designing and running of India’s first private trains, Delhi- Lucknow and Varanasi – Ujjain sectors.
(14) Rollout of the CHAMPIONS portal for MSMEs. It was inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
(15) Running and revitalizing the covidwarriors.gov.in and IGOT training module programme for covid management.

he is responsible for developing P&G’s business, organization and corporate reputation. He has more than
18 years of experience working for the company across business units and diverse geographies like India,
US and ASEAN countries. Prior to his India role, Madhusudan was leading the P&G business in Indonesia
where he has led strong sales growth, share turn around, strong value creation and cash productivity. As
a passionate advocate of diversity, he spearheaded the development of local talent in Indonesia and under
his leadership, the company recently achieved the milestone of having more than 50% women managers
in the workforce. Madhusudan also served as the Chairman of Indonesia Chapter of US ASEAN Business
Council and advised the Indonesian government on policy matters.
Madhusudan started his career with P&G in India 1999 as a new hire in the Sales function from Indian
Institute of Management, Calcutta and worked in various locations across India including being part of
P&G’s first Modern Retail team in India. His first international assignment was to P&G’s headquarters in
the United States, where he worked with the P&G-Walmart business team. He returned to India as the
Head – Market, Strategy & Planning and oversaw the rapid growth of P&G’s business that grew 10 times
in the space of a decade. He then moved to Indonesia as Head of Sales where he learnt to speak the local
language, Bahasa Indonesia. Madhusudan later assumed the position of ASEAN Commercial Leader based
in Bangkok, where he oversaw the commercial category teams across all P&G ASEAN countries and helped
set up P&G’s e-commerce business teams in the region. Post this assignment, he returned to Indonesia as
the Head of the P&G business before taking over as India CEO.

An industry veteran with close to three decades of rich experience in wholesale, retail, general management, and marketing; Mr. Mediratta has worked with some of the leading Fortune 500 corporations such as Walmart, Procter & Gamble, Whirlpool and Yum! Brands.
Prior to heading the METRO Cash and Carry India, Mr. Mediratta was with Walmart US spear-heading multi-billion dollar businesses for the entire US market, first as Global Officer and Vice-President for Operations (Texas) and then as Global Officer and VP Merchandising for Fresh. Before taking up this global leadership assignment, Mr. Mediratta was the driving force behind successfully setting up Walmart’s Cash and Carry business in India and establishing 20 wholesale outlets in a record five years’ time till 2013. As the Chief Operating Officer of Walmart India, he built Walmart’s Cash and Carry India team overseeing key functions such as Buying, Merchandising, Operations, Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, e-commerce, HR, Finance etc. He has been recognized globally by Walmart US for being instrumental in scripting the success story of Walmart’s Cash and Carry business in India.
Before his decade long stint at Walmart, Mr. Mediratta worked with Yum! Brand as the Chief Marketing Officer for South Asia for Pizza Hut, KFC, Tacobell and A&W in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Mauritius. He was instrumental in relaunching the brand KFC successfully in India. Prior to this, he was the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Whirlpool India and Marico India respectively. Mr. Mediratta started his career with Procter & Gamble (P&G) driving the successful brand launch of ‘Ariel’ detergent in 1991. In his decade long tenure at P&G, he worked in various challenging marketing and brand roles in India, Singapore and Bangkok.
Mr. Mediratta was rated amongst ‘25 Hottest Young Executives in India’ by Business Today in 2006; ‘Top 8 Marketers in India’ by The Economic Times in 2003; ‘50 most Powerful People in Media, Advertising and Marketing in India’ by PITCH in 2004. Under Herjit’s leadership as Managing Director, Hershey India the organization has deepened its presence in the fast-growing Indian chocolate market with the launch of the iconic Hershey’s Kisses in 2018. Prior to joining Hershey India, Herjit has spent more than 18 years in various leadership sales, marketing and management roles at Unilever in India, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. In his previous position, Herjit served on the Board of Directors with Metro Cash & Carry handling operations for North and East India.
Herjit possesses a unique proficiency in effectively leading teams, driving employee engagement, positively impacting revenue growth and turning around businesses. An accomplished industry leader, he is the co-chair for the FMCG committee at FICCI. Herjit is also a serving member of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and The American Chamber of Commerce in India (AMCHAM).
Herjit enjoys spending most of his time post work with his family, especially with his four-year-old son Hrihaan. Previously, Rohit was responsible for Hershey’s Global Walmart & Club channels (based in the USA) where he drove sequential growth, re-engaged stakeholders and created the club channel strategy. Before that, he was Vice President Hershey Canada where he transformed the business and culture leading to accelerated growth.
Rohit joined The Hershey Company in 1999 and held various international leadership positions in sales, business development and International Licensing. He was GM for South East Asia and later Middle East, where he led Hershey’s entry into the region.
Rohit began his career at Colgate Palmolive, India, in the Marketing group after which he moved to MTV, India.

Her compassion for underprivileged children led her to mentoring her teenage daughter, Sarisha Ved, to launch her own Athleisure brand F5 Global, where 100% of the profits from the “Fees for Tees” collection go towards the education of children. She simultaneously mentored her eldest daughter, Selina Ved, and founded a new social Ecommerce beauty platform called NESSA.
