He led the government initiative of reviving Public Private Partnerships (PPP) in National Highways via key policy interventions like the Hybrid Annuity Model through appropriate risk allocation among the public and private partners. He also successfully led the initiative of asset recycling of public funded national highways (Toll Operate Transfer Model) that resulted in one of the largest FDI in the highways sector amounting to USD 1.5 billion, one of the first successful asset monetization in India. As Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Medical, Health & Family Welfare in Rajasthan, during the first wave of Covid-19 in the year 2020, he developed and deployed the Bhilwara Model of “ruthless containment” to successfully manage the Covid upsurge in the rural and urban hot spots across Rajasthan.

Subbu, as he is commonly known as, started his career with Tata Tea in 1988 and worked for over 7 years. After a brief stint at Apollo Hospitals in 1995, he joined RIL as Vice President Accounts where he served for over 16 years handling Finance, Compliance and Accounting function.
In 2013, Subbu join Bajaj Auto as Sr. Vice President Finance and steered the entire finance and commercial function for the company. In 2014, Subbu rejoined RIL as Deputy CFO of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) with responsibility of Finance, Accounts and Taxation Functions.
In 2016, Subbu shifted to Reliance Retail as the CFO and became Director in December 2016. Reliance Retail is India’s Largest Retail enterprise and operates Groceries, Electronics, Fashion and Lifestyle stores and Petro outlets.
In his current position, Subbu is responsible for managing day to day operations of the retail business and driving growth and profitability. Under his leadership, Reliance Retail has consolidated its leadership position and emerged as the fastest growing retailers in the world. The company has accomplished numerous milestones and is poised for exponential growth to become a retailer of global scale.
Subbu did his Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta. He is a qualified Chartered and Cost Accountant.

Under Herjit’s leadership as Managing Director, Hershey India has deepened its presence in the fast-growing Indian chocolate market with the launch of the iconic Hershey’s Kisses in 2018. This was followed by the national rollout of the larger Hershey’s chocolate portfolio in 2020. During the same period, Herjit has successfully led Hershey India’s transition to a multi-category play company with leading share positions across chocolate syrups, chocolate spreads, milkshake, soya drink and lollipops.
Starting January 2021 Herjit has been leading the business for The Hershey Company across India and AEMEA (Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa) as two separate BUs.
Prior to joining Hershey India, Herjit has spent more than 18 years in various leadership sales, marketing and management roles at Unilever in India, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. In his previous position, Herjit served on the Board of Directors with Metro Cash & Carry handling operations for North and East India.
Herjit possesses a unique proficiency in effectively leading teams, driving employee engagement, positively impacting revenue growth and turning around businesses. An accomplished industry leader, he is the co-chair for the FMCG committee at FICCI. Herjit enjoys spending most of his time post work with his family, especially with his son Hrihaan. In her early years with DLF, she worked as Vice President and Mall Head of DLF Promenade. Prior to joining Reliance Retail, he was the CEO for DP World and Future Supply Chains in his last two stints.
He has vast understanding of consumer supply chains spanning Grocery, Fashion & Lifestyle, Furniture, CDIT, FMCG etc., besides having worked on auto and other industrial supply chain solutions. He has significant understanding on warehouse automation and design, having built Indians first fully automated DC for retail business from scratch. He has been the recipient of many an award from the Fraternity and is also core member of CII.

Juhi is Head of Sustainability at PepsiCo India. She drives the Winning with Purpose agenda on Sustainability focusing on Circular Economy for Plastics, Creating Positive Water Impact & leading next generation Agriculture. She leads PepsiCo’s EPR initiatives on plastic waste management in India and also the community water programs focused on water replenishment, driving water stewardship through community institutions. She has worked on diverse thematic areas of development including education, nutrition, water & sanitation, women empowerment and sustainable agricultural practices.
Juhi is an active member of various industry CSR forums, participating in the CSR development and industry best practices. She has an experience of 17+ years in various facets of Corporate Affairs, starting her career in Government Affairs and moving on to becoming a CSR practitioner. Her Sustainability efforts at PepsiCo, in the area of water replenishment & community engagement, have been recognized as the Best Community program in water sector, across various National Forums.
Juhi has been featured in the list of top 25 CSR professionals in the Country by CSR Times, one of the leading publications on CSR in India and was recently conferred with the “Most Influential Sustainability Leaders of India” at the India Sustainability Leadership Summit. She has a certification from Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) for completing the programme on “Strategizing Sustainability & CSR Projects Development”. She also has a certificate of honour from Bennett University, a Times Group Initiative for completing the first CSR Practitioner Series. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations, after completing her Graduation in English Literature from Delhi University.
Juhi is very committed and passionate about CSR, and strongly feels that community engagement should be viewed as a vital component of business not just as a license to operate but as an opportunity for creating real value for the underserved communities.
