Mr Goyal’s tenure has seen Indian Railways achieve its best ever safety record in 2018-19.This was achieved through holistic measures such as elimination of Unmanned Level Crossings (UMLCs) from the broad gauge network, production of safer coaches etc. Additionally, Mr. Goyal oversaw the launch of the first indigenous semi-high speed train Vande Bharat Express between Delhi and Varanasi.
The Power, Coal and New & Renewable Energy ministries led transformational changes in India’s power sector including the fast tracking of electrification of the nearly 18,000 unelectrified villages in some of the remotest and inaccessible parts of the country, the roll out of the most comprehensive power sector reform ever (UDAY), the success of the world’s largest LED bulb distribution programme (UJALA) for energy efficiency, and massive proliferation of renewable energy through the world’s largest renewable energy expansion programme. Other achievements include the elimination of coal shortages to improve the energy security of India and successful conduct of transparent e-auctions of coal blocks. He also received the 4th Annual Carnot Prize in 2018 recognising the pathbreaking transformations in India’s energy sector. During his 35 year long political career, Mr Goyal has held several important positions at different levels in the world’s largest political party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and is in its National Executive. He has been the National Treasurer of the Party. In the 2019 Indian General Elections, he was a member of the Manifesto and Publicity Committees. He also headed the BJP’s
Information Communication Campaign Committee for the Indian General Elections 2014.
Mr Goyal has had a brilliant academic record – all-India second rank holder Chartered Accountant and second rank holder in Law in Mumbai University. He was a well-known investment banker and has advised top corporates on management strategy and growth. He also served on the Board of India’s largest commercial bank, the State Bank of India and Bank of Baroda. He was also nominated by the Government of India to the Task Force for Interlinking of Rivers in 2002.
His father, Late Vedprakash Goyal was Union Minister of Shipping, and the National Treasurer of the BJP for over two decades. His mother Chandrakanta Goyal was elected thrice to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from Mumbai. He is married to Seema, an active social worker, and has two children – Dhruv and Radhika, who have both graduated from Harvard University, USA.

Prior to Facebook, Ajit was the Chief Executive Officer at Hotstar. He launched and built Hotstar into India’s leading premium video streaming platform. Ajit spent five years at McKinsey & Company, first in New York in its media practice, where he worked with media companies in North America, Europe, and Latin America, and two years as a Fellow at the McKinsey Global Institute, where he co-authored India’s Urban Awakening, a 2010 report that outlined a new policy approach to India’s rapid urbanization.

Rajesh is well respected for his extensive skills and knowledge across management functions. Under his leadership, Perfetti Van Melle, Bangladesh delivered sustained growth and achieved market leadership in 2016.
Prior to joining Perfetti Van Melle in 2014, he was the Marketing Head at HT Media Limited. He has also held senior positions in diverse corporations including Pepsico, Marico Industries and Reckitt Benckiser. Post his graduation in Engineering from BITS Pilani, Rajesh pursued his masters from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
Rajesh is an award- winning photographer. His work has been featured at Cannes and has also been published in several publications in India and outside. He is also passionate about travelling and has been on expeditions to Everest Base Camp and Kilimanjaro. Rajesh along with his wife and teenage daughter started an initiative- My Daughter is Precious [MDIP] in March 2015 to raise awareness about gender equality and support the education of the girl child.

He joined the company as a Management Trainee in 1999 after completing his MBA from IIM, Kolkata. Over the past 20 years, Srinandan has had stints spanning Customer Development (CD) and Marketing across a number of categories. He has held leadership roles in CD across General Trade and Modern Trade and has led several categories in the Personal Care business including Oral Care, Deodorants, Hair Care and Skin Care.
Srinandan champions embedding the role of CD as a service organisation that serves the needs of brands on one end and customers on the other leveraging three interdependent ecosystems of Demand Capture, Demand Generation and Demand Fulfilment. In doing so, pivoting CD to a High Tech – High touch function on the two pillars of digital and people, including partners.
His vision for CD India is to build CD as a competitive advantage for the company by embedding transparency across all operations leading to a Kaizen way of working and be a beacon in generating future GMs for Unilever by empowering and unleashing the teams potential. Earlier Tanmoy was the Vice President & Global Head – Government Industry Solutions Unit (ISU) at Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) and was based in New Delhi, India. He built the Government Business for TCS worldwide from January 2004 until 31st March 2018. He has over 35 years of experience related with Business Development, Sales and Delivery of Integrated IT Solutions and Services to the Government sector and has led many enterprise wide, mission mode and holistic transformational projects in the area of e-Governance in India and other parts of the World. Tanmoy currently manages more than 180 active clients in the Government Sector for TCS globally and has a team of over 8500 Associates in TCS across 7 Countries. Key projects that he drove include Department of Posts as the Core System Integrator, Passport Seva Project, UK Home Office, Income Tax, Central Board of Excise & Customs, GST readiness, Tax Automation across various cities in North America (under the TaxMantra umbrella), and e-Migrate along with several transformational projects in State Governments and tax automation programs in East Africa. Tanmoy’s 1st major eGov program at TCS for the Govt. of India was the Mission Mode Project – MCA21 for the Ministry of Corporate Affairs which won the Prime Minister’s award for Service Delivery Excellence.

The sectors that he was focusing on included Corporate, Government, Defence, Railways, Telecom, Energy, Travel & Transportation, Manufacturing and Health Care. EDS was a US $ 22 billion Global IT Services Company with over 140,000 employees in 60 Countries.
Widely travelled in India and all over the World he has worked at Kolkata, Bengaluru and New Delhi. He started his career in 1982 – 1996 with Bradma of India Ltd in Calcutta (Tata Company) as a Sales Executive and progressed to handling the Eastern Region through to managing All India Sales & Marketing functions, leading various teams of highly motivated team members to successes in the stints.
Tanmoy joined Siemens Nixdorf, India in 1996 – 1999 as Vice President – Sales & Marketing at New Delhi and was responsible for All India Sales & Marketing of the various Information Technology Products and Solution and Services.
He is a member of the IT Sub-Committee at Assocham, CII, FICCI and PHDCCI. He is on the Defence IT Sub Committee for FICCI. Additionally, he is a Member of the IT Task Force of the Chief of Air Staff, Indian Air Force and a Member of the IT Think Tank for the Chief of Army Staff, Indian Army. He is a member of the Executive Committee of Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council for 2015-17. He is a Member of the FICCI Inclusive Governance Council Committee and the NASSCOM Domestic IT Council. He is also on the Board of Management of the Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women. He is a member of the Digital India Committee at CII and member of CII National Committee on Telecom and Broadband for the year 2015-16.
He did his schooling from La Martiniere for Boys, Calcutta and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta and is an MBA from IMM, Calcutta. He has completed an Executive Development Program from The Babson College, Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
He resides in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India with his wife Priti and their two children – Tanushree and Pranoy.
