Set up in 1927 at the instance of Mahtma Gandhi, FICCI has grown over the years to represent directly and indirectly over 250,000 business enterprises employing around 20 million people. In the vanguard of nation building, moving ahead to integrate the Indian economy with the global mainstream, FICCI has evolved as a true partner in progress with the Government.
